Cavriglia, what a special place! This municipality located in the Upper Valdarno, near Arezzo, is the center of the triangle that connects the cities of Florence, Arezzo and Siena.
Resting on the left bank of the Arno River and the Chianti hills, it is also called the Porta del Chianti (Chianti's gate).

48 km from Florence: at the A1 Florence-Rome motorway towards Rome, exit at Valdarno.
At the Valdarno exit, turn right towards Montevarchi.
At the roundabout in Montevarchi take the SS 408 getting through the subway to Cavriglia.After about 7 km turn left on to Montegonzi.
Continue for about 3 km until the Borgo di Fontebussi.

43 km from Siena: take the SS 408 for Gaiole and Montevarchi.
Immediately after the junction to Cavriglia, turn right towards Montegonzi.Keep going for about 3 km until the signpost for Borgo di Fontebussi.
