Who we are

Of Roman origins, Fontebussi (“in fontibus”- at the spring) is located upon the hills of Chianti where country farms, cypress trees, vineyards and olive groves are a spectacular sight of unrivalled beauty. For millennia, due to its favorable location, this territory was continuously inhabited and a few years ago a careful restoration has managed to preserve the charm of simple Tuscan style restoring life to it: every door, garden, terrace or alley, at different heights or positions, create a timeless game of perspectives and panoramas that offer an unforgettable experience to our guests.

Who we are...

The Borgo of Fontebussi comprises two sites: la Poggiarina, which is on the upper part of the village and it is smaller, and Fontebussi, the main part, with the old Manor House, the farmyard premises and the rural houses.

Both sites offer different style apartments all equipped with a functional kitchen-dining room and cosy bedrooms with en –suite bathrooms. Moreover, the villa and the adjacent structure accommodate comfortable rooms which together with the small Borgo square, the gardens and the fountain constitute the heart of Fontebussi offering pleasant moments of relax under the shade of linden trees; close by, the swimming pools and a bar are available during summer season

Within the Borgo, the restaurant specializes in traditional, Tuscan cuisine overlooking a spectacular valley, which is a delight for our guests’ palate and eyes. Beside this, two spacious rooms are available for business meetings and private functions.
